Many individuals returning from incarceration do not have basic documents or access to resources. One of your first roles may be helping someone secure:

These tasks seem simple but often involve long waits, past fines, suspended licenses, missing documents, or confusing requirements. You might navigate bureaucracy, advocate with agencies, make calls, and break tasks into steps. When someone gets an ID, housing, or benefits, it’s more than a checklist item. It starts to remove barriers.
